Founder & Managing Broker
Michael DiNello | Founder & Managing Broker is responsible for constituting Vanguard's vision by leading Brokerage and Land Development operations as the firm scales. Mr. DiNello boasts nearly 20 years of experience in real estate brokerage, acquisition, and development within the Metropolitan Detroit market. Mr. DiNello began his real estate career in 2001 as a results-driven broker focused on building relationships with both clients and colleagues. In 2006, he co-founded Vanguard Realty Group, with longtime business partner Frank A. Lalama.
In addition to Michael’s overall guidance and supervision of the company, he has extensive knowledge and proficiency in the field of land acquisition, site development, bank-owned property disposition, non-performing CRE debt assignments, and fractured condominium developments. His experience in real estate covers a broad spectrum of property types, property classes, and complex challenges.
Founder & Real Estate Development
Frank Lalama oversees the evaluation and underwriting of real estate acquisition and development opportunities, capital sourcing, and placement for new acquisitions.
Drawing more than a decade of real estate experience, Mr. Lalama has worked in all disciplines of the industry including finance, acquisition, development, and luxury home construction.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Finance from Wayne State University.
Mr. Lalama is an active member of the Detroit Economic Club and a proud sponsor of the Wayne State University Baseball Program.
Vice President of Broker & Acquisition
Chris Rayner | Vice President of Broker & Acquisition is responsible for all aspects of daily real estate brokerage office operations. He creates strategic alliances within the vendor network and is responsible for office growth, profitability, and agent productivity.
By also leading real estate acquisition efforts, he participates in business development across all of Vanguard Companies' service lines. In this capacity, he works directly with leadership to identify new opportunities while growing existing client relationships.
During his career, Chris has worked in all facets of the sales industry including five years as a top producing outside sales agent for one of the nation’s leading real estate sales teams and ten years as a corporate software sales executive.
Vice President- Builder Division
Nicole Ulewicz has been dedicated to helping people buy, build and sell real estate for 23 years. Nicole has been a full-time, top producing agent in Macomb & Oakland County and has managed nearly 20 new housing developments to date. Her new construction specialty has launched her into closing over 1500 transactions and earned her a Re/Max Platinum Cub designation along with becoming Re/Max Hall of Fame recipient.
Nicole is especially proud that her continuing success in real estate is largely based on her ability to quickly identify the client's needs and provide a plan that’s tailored to their best outcome. Harmonious Homeownership! She says, "My clients can see that I strive to help in every situation. The new construction build process takes patience and organization. Typically, there are endless decisions to assist with and endless uncertainties to diminish. I’m prepared for the inevitable variables. Lauren Bonner | Marketing Director oversees all things marketing for our family of companies including Vanguard Realty Group and Vanguard Building Group. Lauren strives to follow a clear and concise brand identity which is showcased through our social media platforms, marketing materials, and internal documents.
Lauren will help market your home and create awareness across our social platforms. Lauren meets with everyone on our team to keep them up to date with the latest marketing trends and provides guided instruction on how to provide the best marketing for their clients.
Lauren has worked in the real estate industry handling marketing for real estate teams for the past 3 years.
